Which lift chair is the right one for you? We carry various types of chairs from top manufacturers, including two-position lift chairs, three-position lift chairs, infinite position lift chairs, and heavy duty lift chairs. Each of these lift chairs serve the same purpose, they easily lift the individual from a seated position to a standing one within seconds. Lift chairs are great for people who have back, knee, leg, hip, and/or feet problems. With our vast selection, you can choose the size that is right for you so that you can extend your legs and be very comfortable.
Lift chairs not only aid in lifting the individual from the sitting position to the standing position, but they also serve as recliners. These comfortable chairs recline to different positions enabling the user to sit up, recline slightly, recline fully, and even lay down flat for resting or sleeping. Two Position Lift Chairs
Two position lift chairs are perfect for someone who is looking for an affordable chair and doesn't need for the chair to fully recline. The two position lift chair can recline to approximately a 45 degree angle. It is typically referred to as the "Television Recline" because it is the perfect recline for relaxing and watching television or reading a good book.
A common misconception is that this type of chair will only stop in
two positions, upright and recline. Actually, the two position lift chair isn't limited to the straight and recline positions, it
will stop in any position in-between by simply letting off the
button on the hand control. On the two position chairs, the ottoman
and the back are controlled by a single motor, so the ottoman comes
out as the back reclines, which is the only real limitation of 2 and
3 position lift chairs.

Three Position Lift Chairs
Three position lift chairs are able to achieve an almost full
recline. The three position's recline is suitable for sleeping, but
doesn't do a flat recline which some people require. The three
position lift chair, like the two position lift chair, doesn't have
separate motors for the back and the ottoman, which means that you
couldn't have the back reclined and the ottoman down... if the back
goes down, the ottoman comes up, however you can stop the chair in
any in-between position, by simply letting off the button on the
hand control.

Infinite Position Lift Chairs
Infinite position lift chairs have dual motors which allow for the back and the ottoman to act independently.
This allows for an infinite combination of ottoman and back
configurations. You can stop the back anywhere from straight to
completely back, and the ottoman can go from straight out to
straight down. The infinite position lift chairs can achieve an almost flat state.
Our Golden Technology lift chairs, for instance, can achieve a
"beyond" flat state, known as zero gravity or, the "Trendelenburg position", named for the German surgeon Friedrich
Trendelenburg. The Trendelenburg position is when the head is lower than the pelvis.

Golden Technologies started off as a lift chair manufacturer.
Today, Golden’s lift chairs are recognized as some of the
highest quality chairs available today. Available in the
Traditional Series, Signature Series, Comforter Series and Value

Golden recently unveiled a 700-lb capacity lift chair for
bariatric clients.
Golden Technologies was founded in 1985 in a garage in Pittston,
PA., by Robert Golden, Sr., and his partner, Fred Kiwak. The
pair started building lift chairs, which are reclining chairs
that have an electrical mechanism that slowly lifts the user up
and out of the chair, or helps them lower into the chair.
